Mr Buni stated this during an unscheduled inspection visit to the Community Medicine Department of the hospital, constructed by his administration.

The accreditation followed a recommendation by the WACP team of experts, which visited the department between November 11 and 14, 2024.

In a letter to the hospital, WACP secretary-general Musa Dankyau said the full accreditation was for five years.

“Junior residents, 15 in number, and senior residents, 10.

“Please note that you are expected to reapply for reaccreditation six months before the due date of 23rd March 2030.”
