Yuletide: Ebonyi youths benefit from renewed hope agenda drive

The Renewed Hope Agenda, South-East office, has distributed food items to youths and women in Ebonyi in the spirit of the festive season.
The South-East coordinator of the office, Belusochukwu Enwere, disclosed this during the distribution on Sunday.
Mr Enwere said the items, including rice, would be shared across the state’s 13 local government areas.
He said the event was a practical demonstration of compassion, solidarity, and a commitment to improving people’s welfare, especially during the festive season.
“This distribution embodies the true spirit of Christmas, which is extending a helping hand and putting smiles on the faces of our people.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu is anchored on inclusiveness, people-centred governance and restoring hope to Nigerians,” he said.
He noted that the initiative aligned perfectly with the president’s commitment to cushion the effects of the economic challenges facing Nigerians.
“This distribution is a token of our appreciation and reassurance that the Renewed Hope Agenda recognises and values the welfare of the people, especially at the grassroots,” he said.
The Ebonyi coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda, James Alaka, said the distribution showed Mr Tinubu’s magnanimity and demonstrated that he is with the people this festive season.
Mr Alaka said the president realised the economic challenges facing the people and is also doing his best to make everybody feel the positive change.
“We believe that it is not good to change the goalpost in the middle of the game, as the president has navigated governance well in the country.
“We in the Southe-East will support him to continue in his desire to make the zone prominent in Nigeria,” he said.
One of the beneficiaries, Peace Aloh, thanked the agenda’s coordinating group for the items, saying the people would support Mr Tinubu in his endeavours.
