Zamfara APC swears in 14 newly elected LG chairmen

The Zamfara chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has sworn in 14 local governments party chairmen elected in the just-concluded ocal government congresses in the state
In his remarks at the inauguration held in Gusau on Monday, the state legal adviser of the party, Ajiya Bukkuyum, called on the chairmen to institutionalise justice and fairness in their leadership.
”You are the first to emerge as leaders of our party, our 2027 victory lies on your determination, hard work and justice,” he said.
Also speaking, the state vice chairman, Hassan Damri, urged the chairmen to treat all the party’s members equally.
Mr Damri said they needed to justify confidence bestowed on them by the party’s members and put the interest of party ahead of any other issue in order to maintain the unity of the party.
He admonished, “It is your responsibility henceforth to foster harmony and coexistence among the supporters of the party to actualise victory in the 2027 General Elections.”
