20,000 Afghan refugees return home from Iran, Pakistan in one day
About 20,000 Afghan refugees returned home from neighbouring Iran and Pakistan in one day on Wednesday.
The state-run radio and television of Afghanistan made the disclosure on Thursday.
A total of 20,966 Afghan refugees returned to their country on Wednesday.
Of the total, 20,042 were from Iran and the remaining 924 from Pakistan, the report said.
All the returnees have received necessary assistance at crossing points.
