Kamaru Usman gets date for rematch with Leon Edwards

Dethroned pound for pound UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman will have a chance to redeem his title from Leon Edwards on March 18.

Organisers confirmed the immediate rematch.

Usman, who was champion for almost 1000 days before his shocking last minute loss to Edwards in August 2022 now has an immediate opportunity to avenge his first loss in over eight years.

The fight takes place at the O2 Arena in London, UK, the home country of Jamaican-born Edwards.
