AFCON Qualifiers: Please don’t give up on us, Super Eagles beg Nigerians

After a disastrous home defeat to Guinea Bissau in the first leg of the 2033 African Cup of Nations qualifier, the Super Eagles have begged Nigerians not to give up on them over the Friday loss.
The Super Eagles via their official Facebook page sent out this appeal on Saturday, sharing photos of their training for the second leg of the march at Guinea Bissau.
“Please don’t give up on us. We know you deserve more and we’re very much on course to make you happy. Final training before jetting out to Guinea Bissau,” the message reads.
Nigerian Super Eagles will travel to Estádio 24 de Setembro on Monday for the second leg of the game.
Guinea-Bissau handed the Super Eagles a 1-0 home defeat at the Moshood MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday, stunning Nigerian football fans.
