APC urges public officeholders to be honest

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Eggon local government area of Nasarawa has urged public officers to live above board and extend their hands of friendship to all Nigerians.
The party enjoined elected and political appointees in the area to continue to show love to members of the party and other Nigerians for peace and the country’s overall development.
Moses Malle, the APC deputy chairman in the area, made the call at Ubbe on Sunday during a joint APC stakeholders and executive members meeting of the four electoral wards in the Akun development area.
The deputy chairman confirmed that stakeholders and party officials endorsed Governor Abdullahi Sule, Godiya Akwashiki (APC-Nasarawa North) and Muluku Agah, representing Nasarawa Eggon East constituency for reelection in 2023.
He added that Messrs Sule, Akwashiki and Muluku were endorsed by the stakeholders based on their performance.
“This meeting comprises four electoral wards that made up Akun Development Area where stakeholders and party executive members of the wards gave us progress reports,” stated Malle. “The four wards have endorsed Gov. Sule, and Senator Akwashiki for another term in office come 2023. While the three wards, namely Wakama, Ende, and Ogba/Ubbe/Gaji that constitute Eggon East, have also endorsed their representative at the state legislature, Honourable Muluku Agah, for another term come 2023.”
Mr Malle urged both elected and political appointees in the area to live above board, avoid greed, extend hands of friendship and contribute positively to the development of the area and the state at large.
Also speaking, Monday Nanza, Alex Nangba, Umar Kubi, Ismaila Garba and Joseph Ekom, among other stakeholders and party executives, commended Messrs Sule, Akwashiki and Muluku for their purposeful leadership styles and called for its sustenance.
They also charged the people of the area to support the trio to succeed to enjoy more dividends of democracy and development purposes.
