The Gazette had on Saturday reported the abduction of the officers who were on an investigation assignment to central Kogi State from the capital Abuja.
The officers were seized while on a reconnaissance mission in Kogi, where violent insurgents have claimed responsibility for killings and abductions in recent weeks.
“I want to publicly appeal to my lord, Justice Ekaette Obot, the chief judge of Akwa Ibom state, to release the closed-circuit television recording of the proceedings.”
