Bauchi: Gov. Mohammed appoints 17 special advisers

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has approved the appointment of 17 special advisers to provide guidance and support in critical areas of government operations.
This is contained in a statement by the governor’s media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, on Tuesday in Bauchi.
Mr Gidado said the move was to strengthen the administration’s commitment to deliver on its promises and enhance good governance.
He also said the appointees were expected to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to bear on their respective roles to ensure that the state government would effectively address the diverse needs of its citizens.
The appointees include Ahmed Chiroma, special adviser, chief security adviser; Bakoji Bobbo, special adviser on state and National Assembly; Abdon Gin, special adviser on civil service matters; Zainab Rufa’i, special adviser, NGOs; Adamu Manu-Soro, special adviser on housing; Asmau Giade, special adviser, culture and tourism; Hashimu Kumbala, special adviser, general service and administration; and Mohammed Bello, special adviser on multilateral services.
Others are Isa Tilde, local government affairs; Mahmood Abubakar, engineering and projects’; Shehu Wadaji, special adviser, pilgrims affairs; Monica Musa, poverty alleviation; Yohanna Yashi, lands and survey; Iliyasu Gital, agriculture; Adamu Gabarin, health adviser; Abdullahi Badejo, farmers and herders matters; and Adamu Zakari, special adviser on education.
