Saul “Canelo” Alvarez has become boxing’s 6th undisputed champion in the four-belt era after his 11th round knockout of Caleb Plant.

Canelo went into the fight looking to make history by putting WBC, WBO, WBA and The Ring belts on the line against IBF champion Caleb Plant.

The fight started very even with Canelo putting the pressure immediately but Plant utilized good footwork and head movement but as the fight went on, Canelo started to find his range and land hard shots.

By the second half of the fight, it was essentially one-way traffic and in the 11th round, Canelo dropped Plant but he was able to beat the count and get back to his feet.

As soon as the referee continued the bout, Canelo went after him and secured the fight with a flurry of combination which put Plant flat on the ground.
