FBI places $10,000 bounty on escaped prisoner Arthur Cofield

The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Atlanta has placed a bounty of up to $10,000 on an escaped prisoner, Arthur Cofield.

It asked anyone with credible information on his whereabouts to reach out to it.

Mr Cofield, 34, was serving an 11 year and three-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) Jesup for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft following his conviction in 2020.

He escaped on May 26 and is considered armed and dangerous.
