FLASH: Cristiano Ronaldo opens new hotel in New York

The Portuguese superstar took to Twitter to announce the opening of his exquisite hotel, PestanaCR7, in Times Square.

Football maestro Cristiano Ronaldo Wednesday announced the opening of his new hotel in New York.

The Portuguese superstar took to Twitter to announce the opening of his exquisite hotel, PestanaCR7, in Times Square.

“What a magical date – 07.07 to introduce you to my new hotel @PestanaCR7 Times Square, in New York,” the Juventus forward said. “Book now and discover the coolest new hotel, in the best location in town!”

Ronaldo, 35, is rated the richest footballer in the world with a net worth of $450 million, ranking ahead former England football captain David Beckham.

A five-time FIFA player of the year, Ronaldo reportedly earns more than $40m a year from endorsements from different brands.
