Jos residents harvest food, other valuables from ex-Speaker Dogara’s house

Valuables carted away by the invaders include food items, tricycles, furniture, electronics, among others.

Jos youth have attacked the house of former Speaker, Yakubu Dogara.

The house which is located near the Jos University Teaching Hospital in the Lamingo area of the city was broken into at about 9:00 a.m. Sunday, AIT reported.

Witnesses told AIT those at home, including Mr. Dogara’s brother, were attacked during the invasion.  

Valuables carted away by the invaders include food items, tricycles, furniture, electronics among others. 

The police have since arrived at the scene to take charge of the situation. 
Widespread looting has been reported in Plateau and neighbouring states of Yobe and Taraba this weekend.
