New Zealand also joined the 2022 new year train at 10:15 a.m. GMT.

While the people counted down to the new year, the Sydney fireworks went off at the 0.00 hours on Saturday local time in the Australian capital, adorning the city’s firmament in alluring projectiles.
Authorities in Nigeria do not allow use of fireworks during festivities, often citing security concerns.
