Sadio Mane suspended by Bayern Munich after punching teammate

Senegal international, Sadio Mane, has been suspended until further notice by his German club, Bayern Munich, after punching his teammate during a burst-up, German tabloid newspaper Bild has confirmed.
In addition to the suspension, the ex-Southampton player will be fined and subsequently be out of Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim on Saturday, according to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The former Liverpool star came under fire on Tuesday after punching Leroy Sane in the mouth after the duo came head-to-head inside the dressing room following Bayern Munich’s 3-0 Champions League defeat to Manchester City.
It was reported that the incident became serious and they had to be separated by the other squad members of the Bayern Munich team – Mane was later instructed to apologise to Sane in front of the whole team.
Things have not been going smoothly for Mane since his sensational €32 million (£27.4m) switch to Germany from the red side of Merseyside last year – he has failed to retain a regular spot in Bavarian’s starting lineup.
Mane has only managed to score eleven times in 32 appearances for Bayern Munich across all competitions and has fallen down the pecking order, with reports that the club may consider selling him in the summer.
