Kanye West barred from entering Australia over song glorifying Hitler

Australian authorities have blocked American rapper Kanye West from entering Australia over his song glorifying brutal Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler.
Tony Burke, Australia’s home affairs minister, in an interview with Australian Broadcasting Corporation, disclosed that his department has revoked West’s valid visa for his song “Heil Hitler” released in early May.
“If you’re going to have a song and promote that sort of Nazism, we don’t need that in Australia,” said Mr Burke said, refering to West’s song promoting Mr Hitler.
He added, “West has been coming to Australia for a long time… and he’s made a lot of offensive comments. But my officials looked at it again once he released the Heil Hitler song, and he no longer has a valid visa in Australia.”
“Heil Hitler,” the title of West’s controversial song released in May, is a salute for the Nazi leader, the mastermind of Holocaust that saw millions of jews killed.
Married to Australian designer Bianca Censori, West, a multiple Grammy award winner, identifies as a Nazi and often makes anti-semitism comments.
Though condemned by many, “Heil Hitler” has continued to rake in millions on streaming platforms, Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
