Liverpool burn down Bournemouth 9-0 in season’s first win

Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 9-0 at Anfield to secure their first three points of the season, after an uncharacteristically slow start to the campaign.
Luis Diaz and Roberto Firminho scored twice, while Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harvey Elliot, Virgil van Dijk and new boy Fabio Carvalho scored for Klopp’s men, with a Chris Mepham own goal completing the goal glut for the Red.
The afternoon story was about talisman Mohammed Salah failing to register a goal or an assist. Still, Liverpool will be delighted to get their premier league campaign back on track finally.
