Model scout linked to paedophile Epstein found dead in France apartment

A French modelling scout, Daniel Said, linked to the late convicted paedophile and financier Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead in his home in Colombes, Hauts-de-Seine in France, on Monday.
Marie-Céline Lawrysz, deputy public prosecutor at Nanterre Judicial Court, said an investigation had been launched to determine the cause of the 69-year-old model recruiter’s death.
“An investigation to determine the cause of his death was opened on Monday evening following the discovery,” the office said.
The official added that a post-mortem examination would be carried out.
French news outlet Le Parisien said Mr Said’s lifeless body was found in his kitchen by a 28-year-old woman.
The deceased’s name reportedly appeared thousands of times in the Epstein files released by the U.S. government.
Despite denying any knowledge of Mr Epstein’s sexual misconduct, the deceased was accused by victims of introducing young women to Mr Epstein.
Mr Said allegedly co-founded a modelling management company with Mr Epstein and was under investigation until his death.
