Sani Musa (APC-Niger), chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, has appealed to Nigerian youths to express their grievances peacefully and within the bounds of the law.

Mr Musa said this in a telephone interview on Friday, emphasising the importance of dialogue in addressing concerns.

The senator also cautioned youths against resorting to violence or destructive behaviour. He assured the protesters that President Bola Tinubu and the National Assembly’s leadership had heard their concerns and urged them to give the president time to address their grievances.

Mr Musa warned against allowing selfish individuals to exploit the situation for political gain.

He emphasised the need to rally behind the current administration’s efforts to implement policies and programmes that would improve the lives of Nigerians.

The lawmaker urged the youths not to become agents of destruction but to work to preserve the country’s hard-won unity.

Mr Musa said, “Don’t allow selfish individuals to exploit you for their political gains. Instead, let’s rally behind the current administration’s efforts to implement policies and programmes that will improve the lives of Nigerians.

“I urge Nigerian youths not to become agents of destruction. We have only one Nigeria, and we must work together to preserve its hard-won unity.

“I strongly appeal to Nigerian youths to work together to preserve the country’s peace.”
