OPC pledges to support Gov. Aiyedatiwa in fight against insecurity

The Ondo State chapter of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) has pledged support for the state government in the fight against insecurity in the state.
The state coordinator of OPC, Pius Ogunsanya, stated this in a statement in Okitipupa on Sunday.
Mr Ogunsanya said the congress was ready to offer a helping hand to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in his current efforts to tackle incessant attacks by herdsmen on farmers and communities, as well as other security challenges.
He said the priority of OPC was to join forces with other security agencies to help the governor fight insecurity.
“The OPC in Ondo State is ready to lend support in securing the state and return it to the former position as the number one peaceful state in the federation.
“I’m appealing to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to embrace our genuine desire to join forces with other security agencies in the state to put a permanent solution to the raging insecurity bedevilling the state in recent times,” he stated.
