La Liga side, Real Madrid, are expected to unveil French star Kylian Mbappe this week after completing the signing of the former Paris Saint-Germain player on a free transfer, multiple reports have confirmed.

According to the BBC, the 26-year-old, who verbally agreed to join Real Madrid after he announced that he would leave at the end of the season in May, has now signed with Los Blancos.

He reportedly signed a five-year deal with Real Madrid until the summer of 2029 with a salary of €15m per season.

The former Monaco forward will also receive a payment of €150m from Madrid as a signing-on bonus which would spread across the duration of his contract.

Mbappe will keep a percentage of his image rights, the BBC reported. He will be Real Madrid’s latest galactico and would hope to build a legacy with the club like the previous galacticos.

According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid “have prepared a formal announcement for Kylian Mbappé next week. Kylian will then focus on the Euros and then start the Real chapter in July.”
