On Tuesday, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara Command, decorated 950 promoted officers with new ranks.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has decorated 450 newly promoted personnel in Katsina.
According to him, any attempt to sabotage the peace of the state during the yuletide will be vehemently resisted
Mr Ovye said the command would continue to protect national assets and infrastructure.
The majority of those promoted were officers of the NSCDC
He added that the suspects mentioned the names of five other accomplices who are currently at large.
NSCDC commandant general Ahmed Audi says continuous review of Nigeria’s security strategies would foster positive results in the fight against insecurity.
He urged the personnel to remain focused and courageous in their fight against crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism despite gunmen’s attacks.
