The president expressed gratitude to the participants, organisers and supporters of the programme.
Mr Idris stated, “Kebbi is strategic, because it shares borders with two countries of Niger, and the Benin Republics.’’
The CAS urged the graduates to seize the opportunity to make a positive impact in the service and contribute to the upliftment of air operations.
Mr Idris a said that NAF’s feats were a direct result of the standards set and the values the veterans instilled in others.
The CAS said NAF had witnessed a remarkable transformation, as evident in the revitalisation of its fleet and enhanced operational readiness.
Mr Abubakar highlighted the significance of veterans as a repository of knowledge and experience.
Mr Abubakar made the call at the 2024 Logistics Conference on Tuesday in Abuja.
The air chief stated that the NAF was to take delivery of 24 x M-346 fighter aircraft6 and 10 additional Agusta Westland 109 Trekker helicopters from Italy.
The air force boss said, “As you prepare to be commissioned as officers, remember that the hopes and aspirations of our country rest on your shoulders.”
Mr Abubakar urged Nigerians to positively impact their communities.
