Last week, a video made the rounds on social media where a group of men with machetes were yelling in an apartment parking lot, chasing one other and damaging public properties.
Police on Monday claimed they arrested two notorious cultists and seized ammunition along Auchi-Ekperi road in Edo.
The police also accused the defendants of assaulting a man, Fatai Atere.
The cultists were said to have chased the victim to a compound in Ganho, Badagry, shot him thrice and walked away.
The plea of the defendant, who had no legal representation, was not taken by the court due to the magnitude of the alleged offences.
