Mr Ceferin has been re-elected for a four-year term until 2027. The Slovenian was first elected UEFA’s seventh president in 2016 to replace Michel Platini.
Mr Ceferin, at UEFA Congress on Wednesday in Vienna, said “the tradition of sporting neutrality is no longer tenable in 2022 in the situation of war.”
With the new order, games that are equal on aggregate score after 90 minutes in the second leg will go straight to extra time and then to a penalty shootout.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino on Monday, however, said the breakaway clubs would have to face consequences of their action.
