The federal government has restated its commitment towards addressing the menace of out-of-school children in the country.
The Kaduna government with support from UNICEF on Wednesday inaugurated the disbursement of N5,000 monthly cash transfer.
UNICEF has pledged continued partnership with the Kaduna government to reach vulnerable children across the state with quality child protection services.
“We do not want children to be taken to prison.”

“These young children have been intensively trained at their early stage, using the Hausa language in building their skills in digital technology, computer networking.”
The Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has engaged stakeholders to return 10,500 repatriated almajirai to school.
“Ten million almajiri children in Nigeria have rights to quality education that will make them productive Nigerians in the future.”
