The speaker, Oludaisi Elemide (APC-Odeda), made the call when Remilekun Ekundayo, the new NSCDC commander in Ogun, visited him in Abeokuta.
Mr Akinyinka said that the corpse of the 45-year-old man was recovered from inside the well and handed over to his relatives.
The residents lamented that the community was gradually becoming a hotspot for multiple kidnapping incidents.
The cleric stated that the matter had been reported to the state security outfit codenamed Amotekun. Â
The governor said the move was toward enhancing security surveillance in the state.
He said that the suspect alleged that she paid N50,000 for the N200,000 fake notes.
He said 19 suspects were arrested for law and order offences, while two suspects were arrested for kidnapping.
He added that Ondo is now peaceful with the protection of men of the Amotekun corps.
He noted that citizens have the right to protest as enshrined in the constitution.
According to her, Mr Adewole’s abductors have contacted the family through her phone number, demanding the ransom of N30 million before he would be released.
