He stated that reconciliation steps were not duly followed and that the minister could approach the court if parties of a trade union could not resolve their differences.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has called off its eight-month-old strike which began February 14.
The council said the postponement was its way of publicly declaring its support for ASUU’s struggle to rescue the public university system from collapse.
