New 10 per cent tariffs imposed by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump on all Chinese imports took effect on Tuesday.
“The U.S.’s unilateral imposition of tariffs seriously violates the rules of the World Trade Organisation,” said China.
The incident occurred on January 29, 2025, when both planes crashed into a river after colliding, and no survivor was found.
The suspects were also accused of tax evasion.
The raids were aimed at three suspects, all between the ages of 50 and 57, who prosecutors said allegedly defrauded wealthy Chinese nationals out of €5.6 million.
“I can do that,” Mr Trump said in the interview when asked if he could make a deal with China over fair trade practices,” said Mr Trump.
The International Energy Agency has urged global cooperation to ensure the security of supplies amid a tightening global gas market.
He said China’s partnership with the international community would further contribute to the achievement of the UN’s SDGs.
Mr Trump said the U.S. has long relied on internal sources to generate revenue while foreign sources are not bringing in any because of the “weak” trade agreements.
