The president was in France for a world leaders summit in Paris last year in June and travelled to London from the summit on a private visit.Â

“But I will not ‘Japa’. I am not going anywhere. I will stay here and continue to shout that the right thing should be done,” said Mr Onaiyekan.
According to him, Muslims and Christians are their brothers’ keepers, hence the need for religious tolerance, especially in appointments into public positions.
He also called for more synergy from various religious bodies for him to succeed as the new state commandant of the corps.
