The speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has confirmed that the construction of Garaku and Bassa roads has been included in the 2026 budget.
Mr Sule commended Danladi Jatau, speaker of the assembly, and members for the speedy passage of the budget.
Mr Jatau also called on Christians and other Nigerians to provide succour to the less privileged in society to better their standard of living.
Mr Jatau urged ministries, departments and agencies of the state to comply with budgetary provisions in the implementation of the budget.
Its speaker, Danladi Jatau, announced this on Tuesday during the parliament proceedings in Lafia.
He urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movements.
Mr Jatau said that peace was the necessary requirement for the development of any society, hence the need for all to coexist peacefully with one another.
The deputy governor, who chaired the occasion, urged the people to continue supporting Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration to ensure its success.
He called for more prayers and support for Gov. Abdullahi Sule.
He lamented the dilapidated nature of the road.
