Mr Wandai pledged his commitment to conducting transparent, free, and fair local government elections in the state.
Danladi Jatau, speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, announced Mr Wandai’s nomination in a letter from the governor.
Mr Jatau said the oversight function was not to witch-hunt anybody but to ensure that “the right things were done in MDAs.”
The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has raised the alarm over rising cases of insecurity in the state, especially kidnapping.
Mr Christopher assured the speaker and their principals of continued loyalty and support at all times.
The speaker made the call on Wednesday while hosting councillors from the 13 local government areas of the state in his residence in Lafia.
The governor said the donation was part of his commitment to promoting culture, values, and tradition to achieve unity and peace in society.
The speaker made the call when the Bassa District Youth Progressive Forum paid him a courtesy visit on Thursday in Lafia.
Speaker Danladi Jatau, who announced the passage of the bill during the assembly plenary, said the law would boost mining activities.
The speaker said Mr Sule was a man of development and a listening governor, adding that he would construct the road to ease the plight of the people.
