The committee is chaired by the Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, while the secretary of the party, Abubakar Rabiu will serve as secretary.
Ms Dogon-Bauchi commended members of the group for their loyalty and contributions since 2023.
The Kaduna governor recalled the long history of collaboration and engagement between the institute and Kaduna.
Dr Balarabe commended Governor Uba Sani for upgrading the Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS).
Ms Balarabe said, “I watched local immunization teams succeed because the women who led them understood the rhythms of their communities.”
Mr Sani described proportional force as the legal standard designed to prevent state actors from infringing upon the right to human dignity.
The deputy governor said the Gates Foundation is driven by a deep belief in human dignity, “and that is why it resonates strongly with us in Kaduna.
The governor noted that his administration is confronting the state’s security challenges.
Dr Balarabe recalled that Kaduna State under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani, has led ambitious governance reform efforts since he assumed office.
Ms Balarabe said Mr Sani has “transformed the former Bureau for Substance Abuse into Kaduna State Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency.”
