Mr Ojelabi said residents could also contact the police through numbers and social media handles.
Mr Ojelabi said the ban became necessary due to the security situation in the country.
The CP commended the officers for their dedication, professionalism and exemplary service to the people of the state.
Police said that the attack on Akinlalu town was carried out by the Amotekun Corps in the state.
Residents of Akinlalu had accused operatives of Amotekun in Osun of killing three residents on September 30.
Mr Ojelabi also urged residents of the state to remain committed to peaceful coexistence and be law-abiding.
Mr Ojelabi said the arrest was part of efforts by the state Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, to contain cult activities and other vices.
Mr Ojelabi said that all the suspects would be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
Mr Ojelabi said that the suspect was arrested on July 10 in Osun State at 5 p.m. while driving the stolen vehicle.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, said Mr Gotan is taking over from CP Mohammed Abba, who recently retired from the force.
