Commandant Friday Nnanna-Ujor confirmed the arrest of Amobi Ujar to journalists in an interview on Sunday in Abakaliki.
The attackers stormed Oyeku Kalu Chima’s residence in Owutu Edda town of Afikpo South Local Government in the wee hours of the day, a police account detailed.

“Ebubeagu never attacked him. Where was he attacked? Is it at the checkpoint? On the road or where? Ebubeagu did not record any attack on any vehicle.”
The Ebubeagu security outfit allegedly disrupted a women’s meeting in Ebonyi on Saturday. Participants at the 2022 August Women Meeting in Ebonyi protested the disruption.
Operatives of the regional security group were allegedly linked to the killing of 14 persons.
