The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court had on September 30 nullified the nomination of Messrs Oyetola and Alabi.
Davido campaigned hard for his uncle in the run up to July 16 gubernatorial election leading to the defeat of incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola at the polls.
Until his appointment as the Owa-elect, Mr Famodun, was the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The PDP described Mr Akeredolu’s visit as “embarrassing” when Akure, the Ondo capital, had no flyover bridge of its own.
The Osun governor also presented the instrument of appointment to the Olu of Awolowo town, Oba Olayemi Omisore.
The Osun government had, on November 4, appointed Mr Ademola as the 16th Aree of Iree in Osun after warrant chiefs elected him.
Mr Oyetola and the APC are challenging election results from 749 polling units across 10 LGAs for various electoral malpractice.
The governor-elect said: ”I make a vow to the people of Osun state that none of the ongoing illegalities will stand under my leadership.”
The Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Tertsea Kume, fixed the date after the conclusion of the pre-hearing session on Thursday in Osogbo.
The court said the decision to forward the names of Mr Oyetola and his deputy governorship candidate amounted to a nullity in law.
