She said Nigeria remains highly vulnerable to disruptions in global markets because the bulk of its foreign exchange earnings still comes from crude oil exports.
She said many households now rely on alternative cooking methods to meet their daily needs.
The defendants allegedly stole proceeds from payments made for lodging at the facility.
The prosecutor, Olagoke Adegbenro, said the defendants committed the offences on June 5 at the Agodi Gate area of Ibadan.
