The CP commended the officers for their dedication and commitment to duty.
He called on the residents of the state to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
Mr Bakori said the deployment was aimed at guaranteeing the safety of participants and preventing any disruption to public order.
Mr Kiyawa said the commissioner of police, Ibrahim Bakori, had ordered a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
According to Mr Kiyawa, the suspects are currently assisting investigators and will be charged in court.
He explained that investigations revealed they used intoxicants to steal tricycles.
The police command in Kano has arrested two suspects, Michael Jatau and Haruna Aliyu, in connection with a stolen vehicle.
This was disclosed in a statement by the command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, to mark the 2025 Customer Service Week.
The CP thanked the people of the state for their support and cooperation, which had significantly contributed to the command’s achievements.
The police said the suspects, Mathew Adewole and Mukhtar Muhammad, were apprehended on September 11 at Na’ibawa Quarters, Kano.
