The federal government has sought Mr Kyari’s extradition to the U.S. to answer an Internet fraud case.
Metuh was jailed over the allegation he received N 400 million from former national security adviser Sambo Dasuki before the 2015 election.
The NDLEA, which said Mr Kyari might interfere with the evidence if granted bail, urged the court to dismiss his bail plea.
The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has fixed March 28 for ruling in a bail application filed by disgraced police chief Abba Kyari and others.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)’s counsel, Joseph Sunday, a Prosecution and Legal Services director, opposed the bail application.
