The COAS said troops had recorded notable successes in the fight against terrorism, insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, oil theft and other criminal activities.
Mr Shaibu said the depot had established itself as a credible training institution.
He said the Nigerian Army has remained a symbol of patriotism, resilience, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to national service for 163 years.
Mr Shaibu urged personnel to remain disciplined and professional.
“Such lessons remain critical as Nigeria confronts evolving threats including terrorism, insurgency and banditry,” he said.
The COAS said future operations would increasingly rely on technology and joint planning frameworks
The COAS said, “The Nigerian Army will remain aggressive and adaptive in responding to evolving threats across various theatres of operation.”
He thanked the personnel for making the supreme sacrifice for the safety of Nigerians.
Mr Shuaibu added that adherence to established procedures and accurate documentation were essential to effective operations.
He pledged continued intelligence sharing and coordination to strengthen joint operations.
