The election has been marred by controversies following INEC’s refusal to upload results of polling units to its portal.
The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday.
Controversies have continued to trail the announcement of results from across the country by the INEC chairman.
Mr Dino Melaye is demanding that INEC displays the results captured on their portal from each polling unit at the collation centre.
Mr Yakubu said only Ekiti State had presented its collated results as of 6:00 p.m., noting that the commission was still awaiting results from other states.
“It will be a disservice to Nigerians and a negation to democracy for anyone to subvert the will of the people as freely expressed in their votes of yesterday,” the PDP candidate said.
