Mr Tafida said the presence of Mr Tinubu at the festival underscored the federal government’s commitment to promoting Nigeria’s cultural heritage and tourism development.
The commissioner said the approvals, all granted in January brought the total financial commitment of the governor to the ministry within the period to N714.98 million.
Mr Bala-Tafida reaffirmed Mr Idris’ commitment to transparency, accountability, and due process.
Mr Idris thanked the outgoing CP for his selfless service, loyalty and commitment to duty.
The circular said the directive followed complaints about titles being awarded without adherence to established guidelines and regulations.
“If I’m insisting (on proceeding with the strike), I’m not insisting. I will communicate to you,” he said.
He commended the legislators for their responsiveness to legislative responsibilities.
Mr Idris said the incident triggered fresh security considerations.
The governor said security arrangements had been made to escort the rescued schoolgirls and their parents to Maga.
Mr Idris commended the IG for the timely visit and for ongoing security interventions in the state.
