Mr Idris-Zuru said the land was received on behalf of the Kebbi commissioner of police.
“In the North-West, we have started to build synergy to establish a common electricity supply for all seven states in the region,” he said.
The governor described the intervention as timely and in line with his administration’s commitment to improving food security.
The governor urged party members to remain united and steadfast in supporting the APC at all levels.
The panel was set up by the Kebbi government to examine the lingering power challenges and recommend lasting solutions.
He described the initiative as a milestone.
Mr Idris said the distribution would commence immediately.
