The corps commander, Usman Alfadarai, said the motel was raided at about 11.53 a.m. on Aug. 11.
Mr Zulum announced the ban when he sighted metals vandalised by scavengers from government structures during a visit to the Bulumkutu area of Maiduguri.
The committee comprised security chiefs of the FCT, Benue, Kaduna, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger and Plateau States.
The killing occurred in Shuwarin, Tomsu Ngamdu, Baram Karauwa and Muna on Thursday at about 1:00 p.m. while the farmers were working on their farms.
He added that the new commandant had worked in different NSCDC commands across the country.
“They were ambushed by hoodlums suspected to be members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra and Eastern Security Network.
Mr Samuel appealed to road users in the state to adhere to traffic laws, adding that the state government frowned at motorists using foreign number plates.
Mr Salihu said the exercise had been hitch-free with no case of examination malpractice and arrest, and the environment was conducive.
The gunmen opened fire on five policemen who went to eat at a local restaurant.
The alleged traffic offenders were tried in a mobile court at Ojota.
