The players and their coaches left the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Sunday morning.
By their qualification for the final match, the two teams will represent the continent at the Under-19 Volleyball World Cup in 2023.
Nigeria becomes the first Sub-Saharan African team to enter a back to back final in the U-19 Boys African Nations Volleyball Championship.
The championship will kick off on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja and end on September 10.
Mohammed told journalists on Friday in Abuja that there was a need to keep the team and coaches crew to perform better in subsequent international meets.
“Our intention was to pick one of the available slots for the 2023 FIVB World Championship, but in the end, we could not achieve that,” said the coach.
The Nigerian team laboured to beat Libya 3-2 (25-20, 18-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-8) to book a place in the semis.
The final played at the Mambilla Barracks on Sunday in Abuja saw Scorpion Spikers VC defeat Karu United 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-20) in the men’s category.
The players got the favour following their exceptional displays at the Kontagora Volleyball Challenge Cup in Niger State.
Nigeria will be participating in the 2021 Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) U-19 Qualifiers and U- 21 Beach Volleyball Championship in Phuket, Thailand.
