The police on Tuesday arraigned four men in an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, for defrauding an intending immigrant of N25 million.
The prosecuting counsel said the cows were property of one Olalekan Ishaq.
A driver, Anthony Joseph, 46, was on Thursday docked in an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan for stealing 800 bags of charcoal worth N21 million.
The police prosecutor alleged that the defendant collected a Toyota Camry worth N5 million from one Babatunde Oke with the aim of selling it.
The magistrate adjourned the case until October 2 for hearing.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Section 383 and 390(9) of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The police prosecutor alleged that the defendant threatened the lady’s life by sending her text messages that he was a silent killer.
The prosecuting counsel stated that the defendant fraudulently converted the money to his own use.
Ms Durodola alleged that the defendant hired the caterpillar from its owner; after using it, he refused to return it.
