LASEMA says the gas pipeline fire that occurred along Agege Motor Road, Ile Zik inward Agege, has been extinguished, with no casualties recorded.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has called on residents of the state to adopt positive attitudinal changes to reduce fire outbreaks.
Mr Oke-Osanyintolu said the fire had been fully extinguished.
Mr Oke-Osanyintolu urged residents to act responsibly, stressing that emergency management was a shared responsibility.
Mr Oke-Osanyintolu praised the ministry of environment for its proactive efforts in clearing drainages.
Mr Oke-Osanyintolu said the mosque on Yusuf Street, off Ladipo Road, Papa Ajao, collapsed while prayer was ongoing.
Mr Oke-Osanyintolu said the worker was de-silting drainages in the area, accessed the underground tunnel and got trapped.
LASEMA said in a statement on Sunday that the 20-ft container fell on a commercial vehicle after it “lost control.”
Mr Oke-Osanyintolu said the accident could be attributed to brake failure, loss of control of the truck after crashing into a BRT demarcation and pedestrian bridge pillar.
