Mr Datti Baba-Ahmed suggested that the October 20, 2020 killing of #EndSARS protesters could not be termed a massacre, saying it was debatable.
He stated that his preference for Mr Obi against PDP’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, was based on Mr Obi’s competence.
Using the global food security crisis to back his argument, Mr Obi said that the north had what it takes to drive Nigeria’s ailing economy.
Asking for payback, the APC candidate asked Mr Abubakar to quit campaigning and endorse him.
The Kaduna governor earlier claimed that his arrest was orchestrated by a PDP-led presidency to which Mr Obi had no affiliation at the time.
Mr Tinubu’s latest ethnically laced campaign comes a day after the PDP flag bearer Atiku Abubakar said northerners should support a northerner like him.
The former governor of Anambra blamed the neglect of the agricultural sector for the prevalent soaring food prices in the country.
Mr Abubakar’s charge that the north must vote a northerner goes contrary to the public image of a unifier that he’s portrayed over the years.
“We will respond according to the Nigerian wish and demand, especially the Nigerian youth,” the campaign spokesman said in response to Mr Enenche’s white flag.
Mr Enenche maintains that everyone who intervened on the vexed #LekkiMassacre issue did so based on information available to them.
