The police command in Kaduna says it has nabbed at least 41 suspected kidnappers and armed robbers between March and April 2026.
Police commissioner Ibrahim Abdullahi disclosed this on Thursday in Kaduna at the inauguration of 26-member new executives of PCRC.
The state police public relations officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued on Sunday in Kaduna.
The police command in Kaduna said its operatives arrested a man, who was reported by his father, for stealing a motorcycle.
“All the suspects will have their day in court at the completion of investigation,” he said.
The police command in Kaduna says it has arrested two suspected bandits and seized an AK47 rifle with 34 rounds of live 7.62x39mm ammunition.
According to the Nigeria Police, the drive to recruit 10,000 police officers has gained momentum.

Organised Labour had earlier raised alarm that the Kaduna government was recruiting thugs to disrupt their demonstration.
