Mr Oyedepo will fill the vacancy following the retirement of the current DPP, Abubakar Babadoko.
“The reforms are a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build a fair, competitive, and robust fiscal foundation for our country,” Mr Tinubu said.
“Tinubu’s policies have not had the expected impact on the people. He has not put smiles on the faces of Nigerians,” said Bode George.
Mr Ododo attributed the renewed confidence in the APC to the bold reforms and leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
Mr Aiyedatiwa said the process was critical to the ruling party’s growth, credibility, and future planning.
Mr Obi said his decision to contest the presidency again was driven by his commitment to building a better-governed Nigeria.
“Interesting, nobody has gone in search of fuel with jerrycans throughout this festive period,” said Mr Onuigbo. “So, I’m convinced that he will be reelected.”
He stated, “The South must complete their eight years. It doesn’t matter which party we belong to give Mr President the needed support to succeed.”
The president is scheduled to participate in the 2026 edition of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2026) Summit.
Mr Tinubu described the carnival as “a great rekindling of our culture.”
